1. SPONSOR
The sponsor is Reader’s Digest Book and Home Entertainment (India) Ltd. having its Registered Address at Sankalp', C-227, Ground Floor, Westend Marg, Near Garden of Five Senses, Paryavaran Complex, New Delhi-110 030
2. HOW TO ENTER
2.2 Eligibility for online entry to the contest offered is dependent upon replying in accordance with the conditions and instructions in the online promotional material or website. To be eligible, individuals must visit the Reader's Digest website, follow the prompts on the promotional entry page, input the requested details and submit the fully completed entry form.
2.3 Multiple entries are permitted but limited to one entry per customer per day.
2.4 No facsimiles or copies are permitted.
2.5 Entries must be received by the contest closing date. All eligible entries will qualify as finalists and have a fair and equal chance to win.
2.6 Reader’s Digest will accept no responsibility of entries which are incorrect or incomplete, not received or abandoned due to slow internet connection or server issue.
3. ELIGIBILITY
3.1 This Sweepstakes is open to Indian residents who, at the time of entry, have reached the age of majority (18 YEARS). Employees of Reader's Digest and its agencies, its partners or licensees, and their immediate families up to the second degree of consanguinity or affinity, are not eligible to participate in this draw.
3.2 Entries are not transferable except to the winner’s estate.
4. AWARDING OF PRIZES
4.1 Each monthly draw closes at midnight (India time) on the last day of each month.
4.2 Monthly draw
There will be a monthly prize draw. The draw will take place on the 7th working day (working days meaning Monday to Friday excluding public and bank holidays) working day following the last day of the preceding month.
4.3 The draw will be held in the presence of an independent auditor. The auditor’s decisions regarding the draw processes and attribution of each monthly prize will be final and binding.
4.4 Winners will be notified by telephone and email and results will be announced post identity verification on the Reader’s Digest website no later than the 21st working day following the last day of the preceeding month
4.5 Wilnners will have to claim the prize money within 7 days of winner intimation to them, failing which the prize will be awarded to the standby winner.
4.6 Prize will be subject to all Taxes and Contributions which it is required to withhold under any applicable India laws and régulations at source.
5. PRIZES
5.1 Entrants are eligible only for the prize(s) presented each month.
5.2 Reader’s Digest reserves the right to change the value of the Prize money each month and will be indicated in the online promotional material for the affected online mailing. Reader’s Digest will award the winner the prize value indicated in that months online mailing
6. RELEASES
6.1 For all entries, RD, its directors, its employees, any company involved in the administration of this Sweepstakes, and the official agent, are not responsible for misdirected, lost, late, damaged, incomplete and/or illegible entries and incorrect transcription of entry information, as well as any technical malfunctions and failure of any network which may limit an individual’s participation.
6.2 The Promoters reserve the right to publish the photograph and/or names of the monthly prize winners in promotional materials and advertisements, as they deem fit.
7. GOVERNING LAW
7.1 This Sweepstake complies with and shall be governed by the laws of India.
7.2 By entering this Sweepstakes, entrants agree to abide by all terms of these Official Rules.
7.3 All disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts or Tribunals in New Delhi only
